The Broader Church
St Michael and All Saints Church is part of the Diocese of Edinburgh, within the Scottish Episcopal Church. The Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) is part of the Anglican Communion and is in full communion with the Church of England. In addition, the SEC has connections with churches across Europe.

We have links with this Christian Community in Edinburgh.
St Albert’s Catholic Chaplaincy
We join with St Albert’s for Holy Week Stations of the Cross, among other activities.
We have fundraised for this local charity with our children’s Wee Sleep Out and various other events.

Members of our choir join Inverard for annual carol singing.

All Saints Dunedin, New Zealand
We have a historical link through a former priest at our church, Rev. Arnold Spencer-Smith (1883-1916), who was chaplain and photographer to Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Ross Sea Party.
Our designated foreign charity. EducAid runs an educational network comprising of free schools, teacher training, and tertiary programmes in Sierra Leone. They provide distinctive, personalised, top-quality, holistic education and support to vulnerable young Sierra Leoneans.
Edinburgh Festival Fringe
We are an annual Fringe venue, and usually hold a series of free concerts, covering a variety of musical styles.
The Scottish Guild of Servers
We have a large and dedicated serving team, affiliated with the Guild.
Annual Doors Open Days
We open our beautiful church to all visitors during this annual event each September.
